Following the agreement signed between Cardif Lux Vie and LALUX-Vie to take over the “Employee Benefits” business as of 1 January 2020, we sent you our welcome letter on 19 February 2020. The first landing page was issued in March 2020 in order to provide you with a first overview of information about Lalux and about how we work. Today we are glad to announce that the implementation in our system has been done successfully and that we will start with the invoicing 2020, work that will be done during the second half of this year for our new clients.

In order to establish the invoice 2020 of your occupational pension scheme, we ask you today to send us the update of the eligible members' details at the renewal date 2020 of your scheme (not necessary if already sent to Lalux). We added an Excel sheet with the requested information, but you can also send us an update of the Excel sheet you sent to Cardif in 2019.

Within the next weeks we will send you individual statements to hand out to the eligible members of your scheme with the current situation of their assets for the premiums paid until 2019 (active and preserving). Another statement including the premium 2020 will be sent after payment of the invoice 2020 when the investment 2020 is done. A dedicated landing page will be available for the members with further explanations. Within the next weeks we will also send you the amendment that will formalize the new insurer of your policy, the changes of your occupational pension scheme announced earlier this year and the changes of law on occupational pension schemes in place since 1st January 2019.

We remind you not to make any more premium payments to Cardif Lux Vie for the 2020 financial year. The premiums relating to this financial year that have already been paid to Cardif Lux Vie were/will be transferred to us. Cardif Lux Vie sent a few weeks ago reminders to some former clients for unpaid premiums. They made a mistake by including not only the unpaid amounts 2019, but also the unpaid amounts 2020. Please only consider the reminder from Cardif if there are unpaid amounts for 2019 that must be paid to Cardif, all amounts relating to the year 2020 and after must be paid to LALUX only.

The LALUX invoice 2020 will be sent to you in the second half of the year. The investments in investment funds or guaranteed funds such as Activ'Fix or FFL-Fix will be done after payment of the invoice 2020 (or the balance if amounts have been paid already to Cardif or Lalux earlier this year). After the investment 2020, individual statements (paper format) will be sent to you in order to hand them out to the eligible members of the occupational pension scheme (active and preserving). As of 2021 the statements issued by Lalux will be available via our new online tool. We want to remind you that e-club (Cardif online tool) will be accessible until End of 2020 only showing the situation End of 2019. We recommend the eligible members to download the individual statements of the previous years from e-club before the End of this year. LALUX will not receive the statements and will not be able to provide copies.

If your contracts offered underlying investments in Cardif's internal collective funds (Cardif replaced FFL funds by C Life funds in May 2019), which we obviously could not take over, we made, in agreement with the Luxembourg authorities, the following trade-offs in the external Sicavs of the Banque et Caisse d'Epargne de l'Etat, which have similar investment policies:
